Survivor Cagayan Preview

It’s my favorite time of the year. Time for baseball caps, new players and another chance for the Miami Marlins to embarrass themselves. No, I’m not talking about spring training, I’m talking about Survivor! Yes Jeff Probst, and his baseball cap, is coming back to your televisions for the 28th season of Survivor that features 18 brand new players including the president of the Miami Marlins. So my second sentence totally works alright?

I have spent a lot of time watching, reading and listening about this new upcoming season so I figure I will give you some of my bold predictions. But first, let me give you some background to the new twists this season.

Thor is a Bore

Thor: The Dark World opens up with information overload.

We learn that thousands of years ago a weapon called the Aether was used by beings known as Dark Elves to send the universe into darkness. The Asgardians stop them and the Aether ends up being hidden not to be discovered for thousands of years. To be fair Scarlett Johansson mixed with science fiction will always be a win in my book. Scarlett Johansson mixed with anything really is a win in my book. Despite my dislike for nearly everything Michael Bay related, I thought I would give Pain and Gain a shot. It seemed unique and I thought I would enjoy seeing the director go out of his comfort zone. I was wrong.

Walking Dead Season 3 Recap

The Walking Dead season three wrapped up on Sunday night. I am here to provide a quick glance back at the season that was. Much like the actual show, this recap will have a lot of potential only to fall flat on its face in disappointment. (Full disclosure, I have not read any of the Walking Dead comics.)

Rather than an excruciating walk through each episode let’s break it down into two categories:
