Here at Pegboards we like to imagine that you, our faithful readers, enjoy reading Jesse and I discussing the latest trends in TV, movies and sports. While traditionally we will review TV shows like Survivor, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and Better Call Saul in episodic fashion, there is a new wave of TV shows that don’t work well in that format. Usually these are Netflix shows that are meant to be binged upon and then discussed. Which brings me to today’s review/discussion. The hit Netflix show Stranger Things. Survivor Millennials vs Gen X Episode 1: Kappa Kappa Survivor

Come on in guys for my Survivor Millennials vs Gen X (I’m already sick of typing that dumb name) Episode 1 review where I use classic Survivor quotes to assess the latest episode.

Before we jump into my assessment of the latest premier episode of Survivor, I thought I could give a quick preview into what to expect out of Pegboards as we wrap up 2016.

The start of the 33rd season of Survivor kicks off the start of the fall TV schedule. Here at Pegboards we will continue* to recap The Walking Dead on a weekly basis with our Dead Rankings where Jesse and I compete to guess who is next to die on the show. Sound morbid and hilarious? It is indeed.

*I haven’t confirmed this with Jesse yet but let’s just say I will guilt him into it.

Aside from The Walking Dead expect to see weekly Survivor recaps, WWE coverage, weekly NFL rankings, a Stranger Things season 1 recap, some movie reviews and much more. If you have any suggestions for show recaps please leave a comment below!

The Walking Dead Death Rankings (S6 Ep9 Preview)

Welcome back to Pegboards’ Walking Dead Death Rankings!

It feels like it’s been a long time since we got our fill of predicting fictional character’s deaths and to be honest these rankings themselves almost didn’t survive the first half of season 6! Alas Jesse and I are feeling revitalized to pull a “walker” and bring this blog back to life! Hopefully with less blood and guts though.

As a reminder every week Jesse and I will provide rankings based on who we think will die next. The further down the list, the more likely they are to die. We give ourselves points based on where the character is on our list. For instance, if Rick dies this week then Kevin will have four points and Jesse will have two points.

How did the first half of season 6 go you ask? Well Jesse and I have a history of ties. We tied in fantasy football, we tied in pick em and we are tied with our love of Leonardo DiCaprio. Unfortunately in this case we did not tie. Why did I bring up our history of ties then? Well Jesse has a 2 point lead over me and I am very upset about it and I want him to remember that he isn’t better than me.
